European Court delivers judgment in Matevosyan v. Armenia case
The European Court of Human Rights concluded that Armenian authorities have failed to carry out an effective investigation into the applicant’s allegations of ill-treatment. There has accordingly been a violation of Article 3 of the Convention in its procedural limb.
